At Plymouth Veterinary Hospital, we provide a diagnostic ultrasonography and echocardiography service which offers non-invasive, real-time imaging that can significantly enhance case assessment and help assist with the appropriate veterinary treatment.
Abdominal and thoracic ultrasonography allow detailed evaluation of soft tissue structures, facilitating investigation of conditions such as abdominal masses, organ pathology, effusions, and urinary or hepatobiliary disease. Echocardiography offers a comprehensive assessment of cardiac structure and function, supporting the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions including cardiomyopathies, valvular disease, and congenital abnormalities.
Referral to Plymouth Vet Referrals for advanced imaging can aid in confirming complex diagnoses, informing treatment plans, and determining prognosis, ensuring patients receive the most appropriate and timely care.
